Founded in 1860, Sacred Heart Canossian Kindergarten has a rich history spanning 166 years. As an Educational Institution, run by the Canossian Daughters of Charity, we uphold the spirit of Charity and Humility embodied by our Foundress, St. Magdalene of Canossa, which embraces “Formation of the Spirit” as our guiding principle to deliver holistic education.

We continually promote Canossian core-values: gratitude, respect, and responsibility, aiming to nurture children who would gradually embody these virtues, and learn to respect all creation, and courageously take on personal responsibility for their actions. We firmly believe that children with strong characters and grateful hearts will build a future full of positive energy. Our child-centred curriculum creates a joyful and inspiring environment where children learn through play, build knowledge through exploration, and practise sharing and mutual respect in daily life.

Guided by our School Motto, “Jesus said, ‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,” we look to Jesus as our role model, teaching children to experience His love and care for those around them, especially for the less fortunate people.
