Activity Name: Road Safety Participation
Activity Period: Year 2025-2026
Target Participants: UK Students
Activity Introduction: The UK students,together with their teachers, have visited the “Pak Fuk Road Safety Town” in North Point on 3rd February (Tuesday), 5th February (Thursday), 9th February (Monday), and 11th February (Wednesday) during class hours. The “Pak Fuk Road Safety Town” is a miniature city that features familiar streets and traffic facilities for young children. The students got the chance to play the roles of “little drivers” and “little pedestrians” to experience traffic in a scaled-down setting. They also practised the concepts of “stop, look, listen” when crossing the street, and learned to yield to one another. Through this fun role-playing activity, they managed to gain a deeper understanding of traffic safety and the importance of road safety. Additionally, traffic officers were invited to introduce to them the importance of obeying traffic rules, along with the four main pedestrian crossing facilities, such as pedestrian tunnels, pedestrian overpasses, zebra crossings, and pedestrian traffic light crossings.

Activity Introduction: The LK students with their teachers have visited the “Brighter Smiles Playland” at the Jockey Club Dental Clinic on Argyle Street, Kowloon, on 29th January (Thursday) and 3rd February (Tuesday) during class hours. Through fun interactive games, they have enhanced their understanding of oral health. During the process, they have simulated playing the role of a dentist, which helped them understand the importance of protecting their teeth and of learning proper dental care methods to develop good oral hygiene habits.

Activity Name: How Much Do You Know About Fireboats?
Activity Period: Year 2024-2025
Target Participants: LKA Students
Activity Introduction: The LKA students and their teachers have visited the “Graham Bell Fireboat Exhibition” in Quarry Bay on 4th June (Wednesday) during class hours. They have explored the appearance and features of fireboats, as well as the maritime rescue facilities that are present in the community. They have boarded the retired fireboat “Graham Bell” to admire the unique firefighting artifacts on board. They have also deepened their understanding of maritime rescue work and have appreciated the hard work of the onboard firefighters. During the activity, the students have also learned about the structure, types, and uses of the boat, to align with their thematic inquiry direction.

Target Participants: LKB Students
Activity Introduction: The LKB students and their teachers have visited the “Toy Library” at the Hong Kong Central Library in Causeway Bay on 3rd June (Tuesday) and 11th June (Wednesday) during class hours. Through games and toys, the students were guided to express their creativity, and this also sparked their interest in reading. They were able to familiarize themselves with the library’s environment, services, and rules, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of the thematic inquiry.

Target Participants: LKC Students
Activity Introduction: The LKC students and their teachers have visited the “Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park” in Sai Ying Pun on 9th June (Monday) during class hours. Through exploring the park’s facilities, the students have gained firsthand learning and exploration experiences. The facilities have also stimulated the students’ curiosity and thirst for knowledge about the park. Also, the students have discovered various signs and symbols in the park and have learned about the rules they should follow. Everyone learned through play and gained a deeper understanding of the thematic activities while happily enjoying themselves.

Activity Name: Let's Send a Letter Together
Activity Period: Year 2024-2025
Target Participants: LKD Students
Activity Introduction: The LKD students and their teachers have visited the “Hong Kong Post Office” in Central on 18th June (Wednesday) during class hours. The students have observed the environment and equipment of the post office firsthand, and have learned about the post office’s operations. They have visited the exhibition hall that showcased many classic and historical stamps, and have learned about how the postman delivered mail, making it a lot of fun!

Activity Introduction: The NC students and their teachers have visited the “Positive Education Centre” in Wan Chai from 20th May to 22nd May (Tuesday to Thursday) during class hours. Through explanations, the children have learned about growth mindset and the ten core competencies of positive character. During the process, they have participated in various experiential activities where they have discovered, developed, and cultivated positive character abilities. They have also learned how to bravely face challenges and solve problems using different positive traits when encountering difficulties, thereby fostering a culture of “positive character” and collectively building a “positive campus”.

Activity Name: Sea and Land Adventure Team
Activity Period: Year 2024-2025
Target Participants: UK Students
Activity Introduction: On 2nd April (Wednesday), the UK students were led by their class teachers to visit the “Hong Kong Ocean Park” in Wong Chuk Hang. Through stories, observations, and staff explanations, the students had the chance to be in close contact with pandas and various marine creatures, and have also learned much about the animals’living habits. The students were very engaged and interested, as they gained a better understanding of the importance of protecting the environment and adopting resource-saving lifestyles to maintain a good living environment for animals.

Activity Name: Plant Treasure Hunt
Activity Period: Year 2024-2025
Target Participants: UK Students
Activity Introduction: In line with the direction of thematic exploration, the UKC a.m. students were led by their class teachers to visit the “Hong Kong Park” in Central, on 7th April (Monday). This activity allowed them to observe and discover different plant characteristics, to explore the mysteries of nature, and to learn the importance of caring for the environment. Throughout the process, the students observed and recorded their findings in groups; they have also engaged in interactive learning for a deeper understanding of the thematic exploration topic.

Activity Name: I Am a Grateful Little Angel
Activity Period: Year 2024-2025
Target Participants: LK Students
Activity Introduction: On 3rd April (Thursday), and from 7th April (Monday) to 10th April (Thursday), the LK students have visited the “No Pain No Gain Foodstep Journey” in Sham Shui Po, Kowloon. Through interactive games, virtual reality videos, and physical exhibits, they have learned about food wastage, hunger issues and the meaning of cherishing food. Throughout the process, they have also acquired practical knowledge on proper food handling and creating orange peel enzyme cleaners. Besides all these things,they also learned about food-waste recycling in order to reduce waste, as well as cultivating gratitude and appreciation for food.

Activity Introduction: The NC students and their class teachers have visited the “Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens” in Central on 26th March (Wednesday) and 27th March (Thursday). Through the teacher’s explanations, the children have learned about the various types of animals and plants in the park. They also had the opportunity to observe different plants and animals up close, allowing them to recognize their shapes and characteristics, while experiencing the beauty of nature and appreciating God’s wonderful creation together.

Activity Name: Join Hands for Road Safety
Activity Period: Year 2024-2025
Target Participants: UK Students
Activity Introduction: On 10th February (Monday), 17th February (Monday), and 19th February (Wednesday), the UK students were taken by their teachers to visit the “Pak Fuk Road Safety Town” in North Point during class hours. The activities were engaging, allowing the children to learn about the importance of following traffic rules through interactive Q&A sessions. They also explored four main pedestrian crossing facilities: pedestrian tunnels, footbridges, zebra crossings, and pedestrian traffic lights. Additionally, by role-playing as drivers and pedestrians, the children used various traffic facilities and learned to pay attention to road safety. They have gained a deeper understanding of traffic safety knowledge and the significance of road safety.

Activity Introduction: On 18th February (Tuesday) and 19th February (Wednesday), the LK students were taken by their teachers to visit “The Brighter Smiles Playland” at the Jockey Club Dental Clinic for Children on Argyle Street in Kowloon during class hours. Through engaging in interactive games, the children enhanced their understanding of oral health. During the activities, they actively participated in simulated oral cleaning and role-playing as dentists, learning the correct ways to care for their teeth and developing good dental hygiene habits.

Activity Name: The Magical Eyes
Activity Period: Year 2023-2024
Target Participants: LKB a.m. Students
Activity Introduction: On Wednesday, June 5th, the students of LKB a.m. were led by their teacher to visit the “Hong Kong Science Museum”. Through interactive activities, the goal was to arouse the children’s curiosity and stimulate their creativity and thirst for knowledge. By hands-on exploration, they were able to discover the joys of science together.
During the visit, the children showed particular interest in the “Mirror World” exhibition area. They saw a variety of mirrors, and experienced how mirrors can create visual illusions, such as making images appear fatter, longer, or making half of the body to disappear. The children found this very intriguing.

Activity Introduction: NC students were taken by their teachers to visit the “SOWGOOD! Positive Character Education Centre” on May 27 (Monday) and May 28 (Tuesday) during class time. This allowed the students to experience a different environment, and to discover, train, and cultivate their core positive character abilities. During the process, the students took on different challenges, and learned to solve the small difficulties they encountered.

Activity Introduction: LKA a.m., LKC a.m., and LKB p.m. students were taken by their teachers to visit the “Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park” on May 29 (Wednesday) during class time. Through first-hand exploration of the park, the students cultivated their curiosity and spirit of exploration towards community facilities. During the process, the students not only recognized the features of the play equipment, but also observed many things they normally would not have noticed, such as the different types of signage, tactile guide paths, and barrier-free facilities, thus enriching their knowledge of the park. They also learned that parks bring joy to people, so we should learn to love and cherish them.

Activity Name: Let's Mail a Letter Together
Activity Period: Year 2023-2024
Target Participants: LKA p.m. Students
Activity Introduction: LKA p.m. students were taken by their teachers to the Hong Kong Post Office Headquarters to mail a letter on May 30 (Thursday) during class time. They observed the post office facilities and understood the work of postal workers, while also experiencing the process of mailing a letter firsthand. During the process, the students learned that mailing a letter requires affixing sufficient postage and depositing it in the appropriate mailbox. They also became aware that the work of postal workers is a very meaningful one, and is an indispensable part of our daily lives; so we should all be grateful for their service.

Activity Name: Tree Discovery
Activity Period: Year 2023-2024
Target Participants: NCB p.m. Students
Activity Introduction: On April 22nd (Monday), the UKB p.m. students were led by their teachers on a field trip to the “Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens” during class time. Despite the unstable weather that day, it did not deter the children from wanting eagerly to explore trees, and so, everyone happily boarded the tour bus and set off. The children observed the trees along the streets through the windows and eagerly shared their discoveries. When the rain stopped, the children couldn’t wait to get off the bus and search for trees, as well as explore their characteristics. Throughout the process, they used their senses to connect with nature, such as listening to the sounds of nature, touching the trees with their hands, observing the natural scenery with their eyes and personally experiencing the wonders of nature.

Activity Name: I am a Grateful Little Angel

Activity Introduction: On April 16 (Tuesday), April 17 (Wednesday) and April 18 (Thursday), the NC students were led by teachers to visit the Foodlink Foundation’s “Grain by Grain” experiential exhibition in Sham Shui Po during class time. Through touring the exhibition area, taking part in interactive games, videos and making their own orange peel enzyme, the children have learned to cherish food and environmental resources. During the process, the children also understood the food waste and hunger issues in Hong Kong and globally, reflected on their own eating habits, discovered the true meaning of “every grain is hard-earned”, and appreciated the importance of reducing waste and of cherishing food.

Activity Introduction: The NC students were led by their teachers to visit the “Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens” on March 12th (Tuesday) and March 14th (Thursday). They had the opportunity to personally experience and explore the wonders of nature. It was the first outdoor activity for the NC students, and they eagerly embraced the chance to observe various species of plants and animals, learning to appreciate, respect, and care for the natural environments. When the children saw the vibrant flowers and adorable animals, they expressed their excitement and clapped their hands, revealing their enjoyment of the visit.

Activity Introduction: On March 13th (Wednesday), the UK students were led by their teachers to visit the “Hong Kong Ocean Park”. Through visiting the exhibition areas and interacting with marine creatures and pandas, the children were inspired to understand the wonders of nature and to develop attitudes of caring for the environment and valuing natural resources. During the process, the children actively participated in various interactive games, and asked questions about the characteristics of marine animals and how they protect themselves. This demonstrates the children’s engagement and their spirit of curiosity and eagerness to learn.

Activity Introduction: On 31st January (Wednesday), the LK students visited the “Sunshine Smiles Fun Park” during class hours, accompanied by their teachers. In a joyful, fun-filled and interactive environment, the students received guidance and explanations from dental therapists to deepen their awareness of dental health and to learn new ways to better protect their teeth. Throughout the visit, the students actively participated in various interactive games, learning about oral health knowledge and related oral care techniques.

Activity Introduction: On 30th January (Tuesday), 31st January (Wednesday), and 1st February (Thursday), the upper kindergarten students participated in a field trip to the “Traffic Safety City” in North Point, led by their teachers. With the guidance and explanations from traffic police officers, the students’ awareness and knowledge of road safety were enhanced. During the visit, the students actively engaged in interactive question-and-answer sessions and simulated experiential activities, allowing them to become familiar with various pedestrian facilities and to understand better the importance of road safety.
